Tokewanna Peak and Mount Lovenia anchor this high-elevation terrain in the High Uintas, where the drainage patterns of the northern and southern slopes of the range diverge. The landscape is defined by the headwaters of several significant drainages, including the Middle Fork Blacks Fork, East Fork Blacks Fork, and Little East Fork, which flow northward. To the south, the terrain falls away toward the Lake Fork River and Oweep Creek.
