Mt Moses and the Fish Creek Mountains dominate this high-desert landscape in the Great Basin. The topography is defined by sharp elevation changes, particularly around Cottonwood Pass and the drainage network of Jersey Cr Wash. A significant hydrologic feature is the Home Station Ranch Hot Spring, located in the western portion of the quadrangle within the Jersey Valley Wash.
