Moyie Springs and the dramatic confluence of the Moyie River and Kootenai River dominate this 2020 landscape in northern Idaho. The topography is defined by the steep descent of the water near Moyie Falls, surrounded by the high elevations of the Cabinet Mountains and the Purcell Mountains. These ranges meet within the Kaniksu National Forest, creating a complex network of ridges and drainages.
