Naomi Peak towers over this section of the Bear River Range, marking the high point of the Mount Naomi Wilderness within the Cache National Forest. The landscape is defined by deep glacial cirques and high-altitude basins, containing several prominent alpine bodies of water including Tony Grove Lake, White Pine Lake, and Steam Mill Lake. The drainage systems of High Creek and Summit Creek carve the western slopes, while the eastern side of the ridge falls away toward the White Pine Creek drainage.
