Naturita lies along the banks of the San Miguel River in this modern topographic survey of western Colorado. The map reveals a cluster of industrial and residential development at Vancorum, including West Vancorum and East Vancorum, north of the main town center. The landscape is defined by the sharp transition from the river valley to the surrounding plateaus, marked by features such as Naturita Canyon and Sawtooth Ridge.
