The rolling highlands of Idaho County are defined by a network of drainage systems and family-named routes, captured in this 2020 survey. At the southern edge of the map, Denver Cem stands as a local landmark near the junction of Denver Rd and Denver Cemetery Rd. The landscape is carved by numerous watercourses, including Cottonwood Cr and its tributary, the S Fork Cottonwood Cr, which wind through the township boundaries. Higher elevations are marked by Red Rock Butte and the Twin Buttes in the northeastern section.
