Old Woman Plateau dominates this high-altitude landscape within the Fishlake National Forest, where the transition from steep escarpments to rolling upland benches is marked by a complex system of hollows and springs. In the late 1960s, the area supported livestock and resource extraction, evidenced by various Mines and numerous Corrals scattered across the terrain.
