The Saint Francis River winds through this Sherburne County landscape, defining a region where glacial hydrology has left a dense network of wetlands and small lakes. In the western portion of the map, the settlement of Orrock serves as a local anchor, surrounded by the waters of Big Mud Lake and Lake Ann.
