USGS Topo · Published 2017

About this map

Lolo National Forest dominates the high peaks of this Powell County landscape, where McCabe Mtn and Ovando Mtn rise above the drainage systems of the North Fork Blackfoot River. The terrain transitions from the steep, timbered slopes of the northern peaks down into the alluvial expanse of Kleinschmidt Flat. This lower ground is characterized by a network of ranching and irrigation features, including Murphy Ditch, Cedar Falls Ditch, and the seasonal flow of Dry Gulch.
