About this map

Wisconsin Point extends into the cold waters of Lake Superior, forming a narrow natural barrier that protects Allouez Bay from the open lake. This coastal region southeast of Superior is defined by a dense network of drainage creeks, including Dutchman Cr and Morrison Cr, which snake through low-lying wetlands toward the shoreline. The settlement of Cutter serves as a small inland hub, situated along the Tri Co Corridor trail and the junction of several rural routes like Co Rd Z and Co Rd K. The eastern portion of the landscape is marked by the winding course of the Amnicon River, which flows north toward the lake through a series of increasingly steep contours. Local transportation remains anchored by historical alignments such as E Old Highway 13, while smaller family-named roads like Meteraud Rd and Hermanson Rd hint at the area's agricultural and rural residential patterns.
