
The Anaconda Range dominates this portion of the Beaverhead National Forest, where the high-altitude landscape is defined by the Anaconda Pintler Wilderness and the headwaters of Pintler Creek. The drainage of Pintler Lake and the nearby Lion Lake transitions into a complex network of agricultural irrigation in the lower elevations.
