Pisinimo and its surrounding desert settlements occupy this 2014 survey of the Quijotoa Valley. The landscape is defined by an intricate network of drainage channels, most notably Pisinimo Wash, San Simon Wash, and Gu Vo Wash, which dictate the placement of local roads and dwellings. These seasonal watercourses are central to the geography of the Tohono O'odham Nation, connecting small communities like Peach Pu, Viason Chin, and Hali Murk.
