Ocean Shores occupies the narrow peninsula separating the Pacific Ocean from the inner reaches of Grays Harbor. This coastal community is defined by an intricate network of residential streets and man-made canals, such as those near Pacific Blvd NW and Ocean Lake Way NW, reflecting modern recreational land use at the mouth of the bay. The southern tip, known as Point Brown, stands across the harbor entrance from Point Chehalis and the northern edge of Westport.
