The shorelines of Lake Superior meet the wetlands of the Keweenaw Peninsula in this modern survey of the region northeast of Lake Linden. The landscape is defined by its complex hydrography, where the Traverse River and Silver Creek drain toward Little Traverse Bay. The central portion of the map is dominated by Rice Lake and the smaller Little Rice Lake, surrounded by a network of timber and access roads such as Princess Ridge Rd and Tall Timber Trl.
