Buffalo Fork meanders across this Teton County landscape, creating a wide valley floor defined by Turpin Meadow and Fourmile Meadow. At the edge of the Teton Wilderness, the remote Turpin Meadow Lodge serves as a lone outpost near a historic monument. The terrain rises sharply to the south toward Rosies Ridge and the high summit of Baldy Mountain, where the forest service maintains a repeater and water tank infrastructure.
