The Lewis & Clark National Forest encompasses much of this area along the border of Judith Basin and Meagher Counties, where the S Fork Judith River and its tributaries carve through the Montana landscape. A series of small mountain parks, including Clyde Park, Willow Park, Bear Park, and High Park, are dotted across the terrain, suggesting traditional sites for grazing or camping. In the northeastern corner, the Russian Flat area is marked by the presence of the Russian Flat Airport, a remote airstrip serving this high-country region.
