Saspamco sits near the confluence of the San Antonio River and Calaveras Cr on the boundary between Bexar and Wilson counties. The landscape here is defined by the winding river valley and its numerous tributaries, including Mariana Cr and Picosa Cr, which drain the surrounding cattle country and ranch lands. To the northwest, the edge of Victor Braunig Lake is visible, marking the transition toward more industrial and municipal water management as San Antonio expands southward.
