Panama City Beach and the coastal developments of Laguna Beach and Hollywood Beach occupy the southern edge of this West Florida survey, where the Gulf of Mexico meets Philips Inlet. The landscape transitions from the dense beachside grid of Lakeside Dr and Belaire Dr into the extensive wetlands and managed forests of the Panama City Conservation Park. This protected area is interlaced with various recreational paths, including the Panama City Conservation Park Trail and Salamander Trail.
