Rudolph Valley and the surrounding drainage basins of north-central Montana define this high-plains landscape. The area is shaped by a series of deep watercarved features, including the aptly named Lonesome Coulee and White Rock Coulee. These coulees feed into wider creek systems like Wild Horse Cr and Big Warm Cr, which are central to the region's ranching and agricultural history.
