Fishlake National Forest encompasses the majority of this high-elevation terrain, dominated by the Tushar Mountains and the prominent Shelly Baldy Peak. The landscape is a network of named flats, meadows, and ridges, such as Big John Flat, Britts Meadows, and Grizzly Ridges. Water resources are central to the geography here, with the Beaver River and its various forks flowing through the southern reaches, alongside several high-country reservoirs including Three Creeks Reservoir and Little Reservoir.
