Muncy Creek and its numerous tributaries, including Trout Run and Rock Run, carve through the high terrain of the Allegheny Plateau in this 1970 snapshot of the Sullivan and Lycoming County line. The settlement pattern follows the narrow valley floors, centered on Sonestown and Muncy Valley. Evidence of earlier transport and industry is clearly marked, most notably by the Old Railroad Grade and the Covered Bridge near the heart of Davidson.
