The Chehalis River and Satsop River confluence dominates the northern lowlands of this Grays Harbor County landscape. The terrain transitions sharply from the wetland-rich floodplains, where Wenzel Slough and Moores Lake collect, into the densely forested ridges leading toward Minot Peak.
