The Chehalis River and Satsop River confluence dominates the northern lowlands of this Grays Harbor County landscape. Small rural communities like Saginaw, Fuller, and Weikswood are situated along the valley floor and foothills, connected by a network of logging and service roads including the Delezene Rd and G Line Rd. The terrain transitions sharply from the wetland-rich floodplains, where Wenzel Slough and Moores Lake collect, into the densely forested ridges leading toward Minot Peak. Private aviation is notably present in this area of western Washington, marked by the locations of My Airport and D and B Airpark. The intricate drainage patterns of Delezene Creek and Workman Creek illustrate the heavy precipitation and active timber management typical of this region.
