Isle Royale National Park dominates this map of the wilderness archipelago in Lake Superior. The rugged landscape is defined by parallel geologic formations, most notably the Greenstone Ridge and Minong Ridge, which create a series of high points including Sugar Mtn and Mt Desor. These elevations separate drainage basins where waters flow through Washington Cr, Grace Cr, and the Big Siskiwit River into the surrounding lake.
