Farragut Bay and the mouth of the Farragut River anchor this mid-century survey of the Tongass National Forest. The landscape is defined by its maritime access, where Frederick Sound meets the northern shores of Kupreanof Island. Evidence of seasonal habitation or early coastal activity appears through several marked Cabins near Francis Anchorage and the tidal flats of the river delta.
