The Brothers stands as the central landmark in this 2014 survey of the Olympic Mountains, where the boundary between Olympic National Park and Olympic National Forest carves through the high terrain of Jefferson County. The landscape is defined by two major drainage systems, with the Dosewallips River and its W Fork flowing across the northern sections, while the Duckabush River dominates the central valleys. These waterways are fed by numerous high-altitude basins, including those holding Lake Constance, Upper Lena Lake, and the smaller Wildcat Lake.
