1987 Map of Ticaboo Mesa

USGS Topo · Published 1988

About this map

Lake Powell dominates the eastern and southern edges of this southeastern Utah landscape, where the Colorado River winds through the canyons within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The map reveals the dramatic transition from the high, dissected surface of Ticaboo Mesa and Good Hope Mesa down to the reservoir shoreline. In the northwest, the foothills of the Henry Mountains rise toward Mount Ellsworth and the Little Rockies, a terrain defined by complex drainage systems such as Ticaboo Creek and its many forks.
