About this map

Caribou National Forest dominates this high-altitude landscape along the border of Bonneville and Caribou counties. The survey depicts a rugged wilderness defined by towering peaks and a complex drainage system, centered on the heights of Bald Mountain and Old Baldy Peak. Deep canyons and high ridges provide the backdrop for a network of established trails, including a long Pack Trail that traverses the northern slopes. Evidence of localized industry appears at the Squaw Creek Sawmill (Site) in the eastern portion of the quadrangle.
