The high desert terrain of the Antelope Range dominates this portion of White Pine County, where steep drainage patterns and summits define the landscape. This 2018 survey tracks the divide between the Antelope Valley to the east and the wide expanse of Spring Valley to the southwest. Key geographic markers like Tippett Pass and Twelvemile Summit indicate the historic passage through these mountains, while ephemeral water features such as Antelope Valley Wash and Spring Valley Cr trace the seasonal movement of water through the arid basins. To the southeast, the Red Hills rise as a distinct geological feature. Human presence is sparse, represented primarily by the maintenance of White Pine Co Road 34 and the primitive track of Tippets Rd, showing how modern access routes still follow the ancient natural contours of the basin and range province.
