1983 Map of Trappers Lake

USGS Topo · Published 1984

About this map

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore dominates this coastal survey, where the sandstone cliffs of the Upper Peninsula meet the expansive waters of Lake Superior. The landscape is a complex network of glacial kettle lakes and drainages, including the large Beaver Lake and the smaller, namesake Trappers Lake. Much of the interior is managed as the Lake Superior State Forest, showing a rugged wilderness crisscrossed by a network of foot trails and unimproved roads such as the Twin Lake Truck Trail and Adams Trail.
