Three River Junction sits at the heart of this backcountry landscape in the southwestern corner of Yellowstone National Park. This area is defined by the convergence of several major water systems, including the Bechler River, Gregg Fork, and Phillips Fork. The map documents a high concentration of geothermal and hydrological features, notably the Bechler River Hot Springs and a sequence of waterfalls such as Ragged Falls, Gwinna Falls, and Wahhi Falls. The Bechler River Trail follows the river's path through the deep Bechler Canyon, passing the prominent Batchelder Column. Geologically, the high point of Trischman Knob overlooks the Ouzel Cr drainage, illustrating the complex verticality of this part of the Teton County plateau in 2015.
