Upper Broad Creek and Goose Creek dominate this coastal landscape as they flow into the wide Neuse River at the boundary of Craven and Pamlico counties. The map reflects a mid-century coastal environment transitioning into a modern residential and recreational hub, most notably with the development of Fairfield Harbour and its associated Golf Course and Marina.
