Wahoo and the western edge of Bushnell sit at the center of this wetland-rich landscape in Sumter County. The terrain is a complex network of hydrologic features, dominated by the Jumper Creek Swamp and the serpentine Withlacoochee River forming the boundary with Citrus County. This area is characterized by dozens of named hammocks and rises, such as Jumper Island, Cabbage Island, and the curiosity labeled The Wonders.
