The unincorporated community of Weskan serves as the focal point of this High Plains landscape in Wallace County. Located in the northwestern corner of the state, the settlement is characterized by a precise grid of rural roads, including Weskan Ave, which connect the town to surrounding agricultural lands. The topography is defined by the drainage patterns of Eagletail Creek to the north and the winding path of Ladder Creek through the central portion of the quadrangle.
