Weston Ranch and several outlying ranching outposts define this high-plains landscape in De Baca County, surveyed in the mid-1960s. The area is dominated by the broad elevation of Conejo Mesa, which slopes down toward the drainage of Yeso Creek. This watercourse, along with Little Conejo Creek, provides the primary relief in an otherwise expansive terrain.
