White Camp sits at the center of this rural West Texas landscape, positioned where ranch roads and local prongs of the Duck Creek system converge. The terrain is defined by the winding course of the Salt Fork Brazos River in the southwestern corner and several family-named water bodies including Mrs J H Brown Lake and Hagins Panther Canyon Lake. This 2012 survey illustrates the network of ranching infrastructure that supports the region, with Ranch Road 2320 and Ranch Road 643 providing vital links through the drainage basins of W Prong Duck Cr and Dry Duck Cr. The presence of Pouroff Lake and several named creeks suggests a landscape deeply tied to water management and livestock grazing, where the geography of the High Plains meets the breaks of the Brazos.
