Barry Goldwater Peak stands as the high point of the White Tank Mountains in this recent survey, overlooking a landscape defined by an intricate network of drainage channels and desert trails. The arid terrain is carved by numerous seasonal watercourses, including the Waterfall Wash and Cholla Wash, which flow from the higher elevations toward the developing edges of Buckeye. To the northeast, the topography becomes more complex with the North Fork Bedrock Wash and Osborn Road Wash winding through the foothills.
