Coteau des Prairies, a vast plateau rising above the surrounding plains, dominates this landscape along the border of Marshall and Roberts counties. The geography is defined by deeply eroded coulees and glacial depressions, most notably the forested ravines of Sieche Hollow and Long Hollow. These natural breaks in the prairie serve as focal points for local heritage, containing the Trail of Spirits Trl and the Sica Hollow Horse Trails Trl.
