Klamath Marsh and its complex network of water management features dominate this portion of Klamath County, Oregon. In the late 1980s, the landscape was defined by the Williamson River and an intricate system of embankments, including a substantial Levee and the Kittredge Canal. These structures were essential for supporting ranching operations such as Kittredge Ranch and Summers Ranch, located on the margins of the marshland.
