This 1982 provisional survey, based on 1978 field checks, captures the area during a period of agricultural and tribal land management. The winding course of the creek and its tributaries illustrate the characteristic erosion patterns of the northern plains, while the proximity to the Bad National boundary highlights the transition between open range and protected lands.
