Zybach Cem sits near the northern boundary of this Texas Panhandle landscape, where the Wheeler County and Hemphill County line is marked by Co Line Rd. The terrain is defined by the dendritic drainage patterns of Goodin Cr, Coburn Cr, and Hackberry Cr as they cut through the High Plains. Evidence of water management and local land use is visible in the presence of Domer Reed Lake and Ed Unsen Lake along the southern course of Coburn Creek. A network of ranch roads and farm-to-market routes like FM 1046 and Ranch Rd 3303 connects the isolated properties. Small natural features like Rathjen Springs in the east provide rare water points in an area largely dominated by dry draws and ephemeral creeks like Mulberry Draw.
