Bridger National Forest encompasses this high-altitude landscape in Sublette County, defined by the headwaters of the Green River. The terrain transitions from the wide Roaring Fork Basin in the north to a series of prominent peaks and ridgelines in the south, including Big Sheep Mtn and the aptly named Battleship Mtn. This area serves as a significant drainage for alpine systems, with Gypsum Cr and its S Fork Gypsum Cr carving through the heart of the quadrangle.
