Hunters Hollow and Pioneer Village anchor this landscape south of South Park, where the transition from suburban expansion to the distinctive knobs of Kentucky is clearly visible. The terrain is defined by prominent elevations such as Buttonmold Knob and Wagonbed Knob, creating a natural border between the settled northern reaches and the southern rural areas. Along Blue Lick Cr, the legacy of local families is preserved in numerous burial sites, including Terry Cem and McCawley Cem.
