Tallapoosa and Chambers counties meet in this agricultural landscape as it appeared in the early 1970s. The area is defined by a dense network of rural sanctuaries and small crossroads, including Kendall Crossroads and the settlement of Judson. The landscape is heavily dissected by numerous watercourses such as Seroyer Creek, Little Sandy Creek, and the Little Chatahospee Creek, reflecting a topography that necessitated the establishment of many localized community centers.
