Moskowite Corner and the small mountain settlement of Atlas anchor this part of the Vaca Mountains during the late twenty-teens. The landscape is defined by its series of distinct valleys, including Capell Valley, Little Valley, and Wooden Valley, each supporting local agricultural and residential footprints. The drainage network is complex, with water moving from the northern Bear Flat area through Capell Cr and south into Wooden Valley Cr.
