1967 Map of Carmichael

Evidence of the region's industrial past is visible in the extensive Dredge Tailings along the river and various Gravel Pits near Morrison Creek. The map documents a dense network of education and transit, from Jesuit High Sch to the tracks of the Southern Pacific and Central California Traction railroads. Local history is further preserved through several burial sites, including the Mathew Kilgore Cem and Camellia Memorial Lawn Cem.
