About this map

Heber Valley and its surrounding high-country reservoirs define this portion of Wasatch County, where agricultural legacies meet modern mountain developments. The settlement of Center Creek remains a focal point for local history, anchored by the Center Creek Cem and a network of historic irrigation structures including the Center Cr Number One Reservoir and Center Cr Number Two Reservoir. To the east, the residential community of Timber Lakes occupies the timbered slopes above Witts Lake and Jones Reservoir, illustrating the area's shift toward recreation and seasonal residency. The southern half of the map is dominated by the steep, canyon-cut terrain of the Uinta National Forest. Here, a complex system of drainages like Daniels Canyon and Cummings Canyon provides a detailed look at the hydrology feeding the valley, while primitive routes such as the Cummings Flat Trl track through the rugged interior.
