Cheaha Mountain and Hernandez Peak dominate this section of the Talladega National Forest along the border of Clay and Cleburne counties. The landscape is defined by its high-elevation ridges and a sophisticated network of footpaths, including the Pinhoti NRT, the Chinnabee Silent Hiking Trail, and the Odum Scout Trail. These trails connect numerous notable summits and lookouts such as McDill Point, Parker High Point, and Bald Rock.
