Great Bear Wilderness and the Flathead National Forest dominate this high-elevation landscape in the Flathead Range. The terrain is defined by prominent summits such as Prospector Mtn, Circus Peak, and Crossover Mtn. A network of drainage systems, including Bergsicker Creek, Lower Twin Creek, and Tanner Creek, carves through the mountains toward the Hungry Horse Reservoir and the Flathead Wild and Scenic River at the southern boundary.
