Slate Mtn and the high ridges of the Caribou National Forest dominate this section of the Idaho backcountry along the Power and Bannock County line. The landscape is defined by its drainage systems, including the headwaters of Mink Cr and the westward-flowing Crystal Cr. Smaller settlements such as Crystal and Justice Park are situated within this complex system of draws and canyons, connected by a network of rural routes like the Bannock Hwy and E Crystal Rd.
