Cove is situated at the dramatic base of the Whitman National Forest, where the forested slopes of the Blue Mountains meet the fertile Grande Ronde Valley. This survey captures the rural infrastructure supporting the region's agricultural and geothermal assets, most notably the Cove Hot Springs and the complex irrigation system including the Catherine Cr Highline Canal. The landscape is a network of family-named roads and water features, from the Grande Ronde River in the northwest to the secluded residential pocket of High Valley in the south.
